Snows are setting in.

But I can pull up

Images of Northern mist and pine.

Sounds of loon and

Droplets falling from my paddle.

Gets in the blood

This Northern exposure.

Brings hope for next season.

And waters’ journeys

To rocky sites for Camp.

For leisurely self-help

For meals tasting double-good

For songs with friends

And silly banter.

For air freshness

That brings on

Delicious sleep, dreams and fragrance.

While lordly stars look down.
