Pond Waking

Love this place The being alone The dawning's silence And puckered fish kisses. Cheeky Robin prevails. But no, the dove coos In inexplicable fashion. He comes for solace As do I. Much too early For farm trucks Haywagons  Two horse buggies Crossing one-lane bridge. Lowing cattle from distances. Steam just coming off The wheat near cutting. Water break hisses its happy welcome. And yes, I feel welcome Harmony Peace Presence of my Lord Whispering Yours now for a while Child. Plus that striding heron Off in the pond's  Far corner.

Impressive, What?
