  There is a spot  Next to Wendy’s Fast Food.  Lots of trees  Awaiting leaves.  Next to a small  Creek  running clear  And lyrical.  The  crows  are above  Many of them.  Black and boisterous.  But  their  cries hold  The  magic  and promise  Of May flowers.  Short sleeves.  Evening walks.  Front  porch  talks.  Dry  baseball  fields.  Tulips’ lush yields.  Go  ahead  guys.  Make all that noise.  Whoop it up.  Fine by me.  Soon you will be  Hard at work  Feeding your  young  ones. As are we.

  Standing at the dock  Darkness,  speckled  with  Starry ideas.  Gentle  waves  kathunk  The rock crib.  I hear splashing, some critter  Down the shoreline.  And then  there  is the Bird…  His  mournful  yodel cry  Seems to  match  how  I felt last week.  Reason why I took this break.  Thrilling Lake Temagami.  But listen,  another  One  Opposite end of the waters.  Calling back.  Three of us  enjoying  ambiance  Under a  smiling  Dipper. (ursa major) And last quarter Moon.

  Every five minutes you can catch another lift. Nice company. Little bit bumpy ride if a cheetah shows up.
